CURT HUSTON, president of the VALLEY FORGE WATERSHED ASSOCIATION, spoke to the club about the association's efforts in protecting and restoring the Norristown Basin section of the Schuykill River. The basin, the second largest Schuykill basin, next to Boathouse Row, is under attack from a very invasive Eurasian Milfoil weed, that is choking plant and fish life, restricting recreational boating as well as river rescue activities.
