Last Wednesday, The ROTARY CLUB OF NORRISTOWN sponsored a speech competition at the high school in which 6 students presented short speeches using the ROTARY Four Way Test to back up their conclusions on a variety of topics of their choosing.  The 1st place winner advances on to the Regional Finals Competition at MCCC on April 11th.

 

 
(L to R)  First place went to Jazminh Tuggle who spoke on the dangers of stereotyping people and generalizing about them, second place was Megan Litschi speaking in support of stronger gun control, and third place went to  Taylor Handy talking the need for universal access to computers and the internet for all students. The speeches of all contestants will be available soon on our website.
