NAHS INTERACT CLUB PRESENTATION

The INTERACT CLUB of NORRISTOWN AREA HIGH SCHOOL, visited our club last Thursday and presented their annual report to us.  Each student gave a short speech and outlined club activities from last year, and planned events for this year. They  talked of the history of INTERACT and how it was created in the early 60's as a youth outreach program from ROTARY INTERNATIONAL, and has grown to 250,000 members in 11,000 clubs around the world.

Our sponsorship of NAHS INTERACT CLUB is headed by Vanessa Cossari who has worked tirelessly over the last few years to build up the club. These three officers recently attended INTERACT Day at the United Nations, and the members related the learning experiences that they received from the event. They attended lectures, seminars and demonstrations covering a wide range of topics with worldwide appeal. They also had the pleasure of meeting the president of ROTARY INTERNATIONAL, K. R. Ravindran.
