Maria Maneos from BRUSH WITH THE LAW, an organization dedicated to rehabilitation through the arts, spoke to the club last Thursday. Maria started the program in 2013, incorporating personal observations of current practices in rehabilitating drug offenders and other prisoners, by using the visual arts to help restore self confidence, improve self esteem , by involving the individuals in public works projects , such as mural painting and landscape beautification projects.
