On Thurs., Mar. 11, the club heard from our former Asst. Gov., Mike Seidner, of the North Penn Club. Mike spoke about a partnership initiative of the Allentown Rotary to set up a new summer camp in the district. This initiative, "STEMYEA", ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Math.. Youth Explorer Academy ), would be a 4 day, 3 night educational camp for middle school students of the District 7430 region. The initial focus of the camp would be space science. The camp would be set up in cooperation with the SETI Institute, a not-for-profit research organization. There are negotiations in progress to hold the camp at Albright College, in Reading. 
For our club, the initial setup of the camp would represent partnering in a district grant. The camp would not be started until 2022.
