Virginia Frantz, our guest speaker on April 15, 2021 has been Executive Director of The Montgomery County Foundation, Inc.  for the past twelve years.  She proudly claims she has the best job in the world! How many of us can say that?  The Foundation is a public, non-profit organization using money from community groups to fund charitable organizations.  An example is that they raised over 1 million in the past year which was then doled out with 250 grants to assist in COVID-19 relief.   The Foundation is not unique to Montgomery County, many municipalities across the Country have similar operations which serve to build strong

Communities. The Montgomery County Foundation , Inc. sponsors a Women’s Forum yearly.  They manage the Carson Scholarship which is awarded annually to a graduating senior at Norristown Area High School.  The Foundation has also assisted “ Advocates against Hunger” with whom we have partnered.  The Foundation is responsible for the prudent management of $18 million in funds and prides themselves for becoming a proactive  financial community resource.  Thank you, Virginia for shepherding our funds over the years.  We are proud you came to speak to us and are one of our own Rotarians!
