I became intrigued by the plastic recycle program sponsored by NexTrex. If your club collects 1000 lbs of recycled plastic, 'Nextrex' will donate a Trex park bench to your club. The Hamburg club already earned 4 benches with their name on them distributed around town.
This is something we could do. Our gift to the environment. We could BE one of those clubs.
Numerous clubs really met the challenge and our District claims it is helping them attract younger members because of their keen interest in environment. Seriously, we could do this, this summer, we need a Summer project

Help anyone hungry, weary or living in the streets. Help serve breakfast & coffee, organize meals, lead devotion, handle client check-ins, manage the food pantry. Day shelter services
We are the only non-profit, comprehensive crime-victim agency serving Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Our confidential services are provided at no cost to survivors of crime and their loved ones. Need help with day to day services. Collect used cell phones.
Volunteer at the Pantry or the Farm. Creating meal kits, distributing to guests. Plant pick and pack, help deliver and pick up from partners. Help feed the hungry.
Each week we ask a community leader to come speak to the club. Guests are Welcome !! If you would like to speak at a future meeting, email us at RotaryofNorristown@gmail.com. Include your contract info and a brief description of your topic.
