Food Bank Beneficiary: Salvation Army, Norristown

Supermarket Partner: Redner’s Audubon

Concept: The food bank will provide us with a “shopping list” of food items needed by the food bank.

        We will create a shopping list with the items, prices and location of each item.

        The list will probably consist of 10 or 15 items.

        Rotary members will be manning a table in the store’s vestibule, handing incoming shoppers copy of the shopping list. We will invite the shopper to purchase a couple of the items, and on the way out, drop off the donated item(s) in a box on our table.

        The store manager indicated that all of the available items will be located on an “end cap”. This will make it easy for the shopper to pick out the items that they wish to donate.
