DAVE BROWN- Co-Author "Shadows of Glory: Memorable and Offbeat World Series Stories"Last Thursday, we were fortunate to have as a speaker, DAVE BROWN who is the co-author of the book "Shadows of Glory: Memorable and Offbeat World Series Stories". Dave told of the process leading up to the book, collaborating with a college fraternity brother from Gettysburg. He gave several humorous excerpts from the book, one concerning former Phillies player Cliff Lee, and his troubles getting to the game on time, and another about Tom Browning, on how he missed a World Series appearance due to the need to drive his wife to the hospital , to give birth, during the game.
