Originally set up to aid private schools, the credit now can be also used to create grants to a wide array of charitable educational organizations such as: Elmwood Zoo, Theater Horizon, Buck County Playhouse, the Pittsburgh Symphony and many others. The group has been helping educate about this grant since 2018 and assists in redirecting over 5 million dollars are year to deserving organizations.
Jed pointed out that The Friends of Education helps keep Pa tax funds local, aiding community groups . Its provides a way for you to direct Pa. tax monies to directly assist many organizations in our area.
