From Rotary International
The Board of Directors has decided to discontinue the annual tradition of the incoming RI President selecting a theme and logo for the coming year.
This is a old tradition, allowing the new president to pick an area of focus and particular direction for RI to focus in the coming year.
The theme and logo was always intended to be an internal theme for Rotarians not for the general public, although occasionally it appeared on outside communications.
The concern is that it is confusing to non-rotarians to see focus changing every year and instead, Rotary will community our perpetual theme of "People of Action"
Starting in 2025, Rotary will discontinue the creation of an annual President's Theme.
