Our Guest Speaker on Thursday, October 4th was Dr. Cameron Olezene, Medical Director at Flourish Research - Philadelphia. Dr. Olezene earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Olezene specializes in clinical research with a primary focus on Alzheimer’s Disease.
Dr. Olezene discussed the role of early diagnosis and intervention in the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease. A new case of Alzheimer’s is diagnosed every 65 seconds. Flourish Research is seeking participants for the clinical trials being conducted at their offices in Plymouth Meeting. They are looking for individuals willing to have MRIs, PET scans, and other tests to detect the presence of brain amyloids, an indicator of Alzheimer’s Disease.
