SAVE TUESDAY NOV. 16
Come and Pack Dinner Baskets
at the OIC.  -  9:30  1106 Arch St.

Last year we were able to help 75 families with a turkey and a freshly baked pie from Kriebelโ€™s bakery, 60 senior citizens with a Valentine treat and 25 low income residents with a ham or chicken at Easter because of your wonderful donations to the Turkey drive.  We are hoping to be able to partner with some other organizations this year to help the ever growing need in the Norristown community.  Asking for donations to the Rotary Club of Norristown so we can help the hungry.   Please remember there have been no lunches to buy or 50-50 during this entire year!   Thank you for your generosity.

Also, if you would like to contribute gift cards, send the in.

Garden Workday 11/6
GARDEN WORKDAY

Thanks to Judy Bucko, Diane Helm, Robin Parker and Mark Call
for coming out last Saturday 11/6 for the garden workday. We focused on the left side clearing weeds and overgrowth.
We have much tall overgrowth on the right side.,  If anyone has a weedwacker and can bring it out to the next workday, we would like to cut down the tall growth on the right before weeding that section. We are waiting on an update on mulch delivery before putting the garden to bed for the winter.

Technical Tip:

Technical Tip: Keep my gmail out of promotions
        But, It's NOT Spam.

Is some of your expected gmail missing from the Inbox?

Aside from regular spam filtering, sometimes Google also takes  a guess at your incoming gmail and pre-categorizes it in order to cut down on spam. The Tabs 'Social' and 'Promotions' capture some of your email instead.
Well, Google doesn't always get it right.

Fortunately, even though that is the default setting, you can change the setting and control your pre-categorization completely and get all your mail back in the old inbox.
YOU can select select the problem email in 'Promotions' and drag it to the inbox,  OR....
A more reliable way is to control your own categories  or  simply have none at all.  If you uncheck the 'Social" and 'Promotions' categories in settings, your future email will not appear in those virtual folders but rather in your old inbox as expected.

Here's what you do to fix it.
Go to your inbox settings link. https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#settings/inbox
Uncheck the boxes 'Social' and 'Promotions', AND CLICK SAVE
From now on it will appear in the old inbox as expected.
